Bomber 3D Studio Max Tutorial

In this tutorial I'll show you how to create a "bomber" system using particle flow!

We begin the tutorial by creating a very simple bomber vehicle!
I started with a primitive sphere to end up with a simple missile looking bomber!

We then create a deflector, a pflow system, a drag modifier and a gravity force .
Put the deflector at the beginning of the axes and make it very big (6000*6000)!
Give the drag modifier the following settings.

Now we need a path for our bomber to follow! I created a spline with a turn! We now have all the pieces we need!

Select the bomber and on the motion panel give it a path constraint!
Select the line we created earlier and make it 200 frames long!

Now open the pflow panel! As you can see it is pretty straightforward!

The particles are created on the bomber and inherit 50% of its speed so the don't fall straight down!
Then they are affected by the gravity force and so they drop!
When they collide with the deflector they spawn some high velocity particles!
Those particles are slowed down by the drag force! While they are moving they grow bigger !
